VOLUNTEER

The Double Dipsea Race relies heavily on volunteers to ensure runner safety, and to facilitate a smooth start and finish with the various handicapped start times.

Volunteers are needed for the following assignments:

• Aid stations (Mill Valley, Muir Wood, Cardiac Hill)
• Course Monitors (Mill Valley, Top of Dipsea Steps, Flying Y, Upper and Lower Windy Gap, Muir Woods, Swoop Hollow, Panoramic Highway)
• Registration
• Clothing sales and pick-up
• T-shirt distribution
• Goody bag assembly and distribution
• Refreshments
• Finish line timing, stringing, results
• Equipment loading, set up and breakdown
• Equipment transport to aid stations and course monitors
• Parking control

All volunteers receive:

• Double Dipsea T-shirt
• Invitation to post-race volunteer picnic
• Invitation to DSE volunteer picnic in late summer
• Two volunteer points towards trophy/award requirements
